Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in determining patient diagnoses and treatment by expertly performing blood collection and specimen processing, ensuring the highest level of patient care. Every day you will expertly obtain and process blood specimens via capillary or venipuncture, ensuring integrity, proper disposal, and timely distribution to testing areas with special instructions, all while performing clerical duties and prioritizing patient comfort. Assists physicians with examinations and procedures to serve the medical needs of patients with various health conditions in a professional, confidential, and caring manner. Coordinates the flow of patients, phone calls, lab work, and nurse visits to facilitate quality patient care and customer service goals.
