The position plays a critical role in supporting clinical providers, improving workflow efficiency, and ensuring accurate and timely medical records and administrative operations. Key Responsibilities: Medical Scribe Duties (AM, In-Person): Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters in real time, including psychiatric assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Enter documentation directly into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system under the supervision of licensed providers. Review and organize patient charts before and after visits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Assist with tracking and entering orders, test results, and other relevant clinical data. Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor missing documentation. Assist with patient communication documentation. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in healthcare, psychology, or a related field preferred. Prior experience as a medical scribe or in a medical or behavioral health setting is required. Must be able to report, in-person, to facility located in Belton, TX. This is REQUIRED. Knowledge of medical terminology and psychiatric diagnoses preferred. Proficiency with typing and navigating EMR systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with Zoom Business, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced, confidential healthcare environment.
