Perform any treatments, as required, including vital signs, weights, temperatures, skin care, and range of motion exercises.
Assist residents with medications under the careful supervision of the Nursing Coordinator.
Document in, and refer to, all pertinent lists of record keeping systems, ie. toileting book, dietary need book, daily communication book and miscellaneous flow sheets and SAMM documentation.
Assist multi-disciplinary team in the development, implementation and evaluation of care plans for residents. Attend and contribute to care planning meetings as assigned.
Escort residents to medical appointments within the community, as needed.
Maintain day-to-day cleanliness in resident's rooms and bathrooms and assure tidiness in all accessible storage areas and common areas. Responsible for bed making and linen changing. Responsible for assuring that all needed supplies for resident care are in stock. Responsible for communicating with te Nursing Director when more ADL supplies are needed.
Observe and report any unsanitary conditions, fire, or safety hazards. Inform Program Director of any faulty equipment needing replacement.
Laundry for residents.
Observe and immediately report any changes in resident's status to Nursing Coordinator and/or Program Director. This includes changes in physical and/or cognitive/emotional status.
Responsible for supporting the Therapeutic Recreation Department by assisting in daily activities and special events as planned. Assist residents to and from recreation programming.
Agree to work as assigned/must be flexible with hours.
Work collaboratively with peers as a team.
Maintain all certifications as required for employment.
Assist Nursing Director and Program Director in training of new staff.
(11 p.m -7 a.m. staff. Responsible for resident's safety and well-being during the night shifts. Responsible for engaging residents who are awake. IV. Qualifications:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Massachusetts.

Ability to be flexible with scheduling and work assignments, as well as the ability to work as a team.

Position Overview?
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to join our? care team at CHA PACE. In this unique role, you will travel to PACE participants' homes in order to perform a variety of phlebotomy procedures, ?including collecting blood samples, providing point-of-care testing (such as INRs), and picking up patient self-collected samples for processing.
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate patient documentation, properly handling blood samples, and maintaining a sterile and safe work environment. This position requires skilled proficiency in venipuncture, safe and accurate specimen collection, and a commitment to providing the highest quality of compassionate care possible for our participants.
?Key Responsibilities?
• Travel to PACE participants' homes to draw blood samples.
• Greet participants warmly and verify their identification before collecting specimens.
• Explain the phlebotomy procedure thoroughly to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Perform venipuncture using correct techniques, ensuring accurate blood sample collection with minimal patient discomfort.
• Properly label specimens immediately after collection, including patient name, date of birth, and time of collection.

The float pool Milieu Counselors / Nursing Assistants provide care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. While regularly scheduled, the members of the float pool are deployed on a shift by shift basis to provide care to patients in multiple adult and geriatric psych units at Everett Hospital.
We provide a vibrant activities program along with special group sessions and programming to provide support. A designated activity group room houses musical instruments, art supplies and other items to engage individual patient strengths and interests. Patients are cared for by a dynamic interdisciplinary psychiatry team of nurses, milieu counselors, providers and social workers.
Job Purpose
Providing quality care according to Cambridge Health Alliance standards of nursing practice and the role expectations of the Adult Psychiatric Inpatient Unit. The Milieu Counselor is a member of the multidisciplinary team who, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, is responsible for a safe and structured unit milieu as well as attending to the individual needs of patients in crisis in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
The Milieu Counselor/ Nursing Assistant assists with ADL's, lead or co-lead groups, perform safety checks, 1:1 meetings with patients, and charts patients B/P, TPR & weight, as well as helping maintain their nutritional and hydration needs.
The Milieu Counselor/ Nursing Assistant communicates with the nurses of any changes in vital signs and accurately measures and documents patients' intake and output.
Qualifications/Experience:
A minimum of a High School diploma or GED required.
Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association or
American Red Cross is required. At least one year previous inpatient clinical mental health experience in a behavioral health unit is strongly preferred
Experience with geriatric and adult psych is highly preferred. All newly hired candidates must successfully complete a job specific physical agility test.
