Position Summary:
Responsible for all clinic laboratory functions, including phlebotomy, processing and sending lab
specimens, record keeping, quality controls, performance of in-house lab tests and oversight of all lab

About the Role
The MedicalAssistant/Phlebotomist is a vital role in supporting patients throughout their fertility journey. As a MedicalAssistant/Phlebotomist, you will assist with procedures, provide education, and support the multidisciplinary team, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care at every step of their path to parenthood.
We are seeking a MedicalAssistant/Phlebotomist to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Washington, located in Tacoma, WA. This is a full-time, onsite position, working Monday-Friday, from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with up to 2 holidays per year and 1-2 weekend shifts per month.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients, verify medical history, and ensure all patient information is accurately updated in the EMR.
Support healthcare providers during exams, procedures, and treatments to ensure high-quality patient care.
Perform basic clinical tasks including taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are properly stocked and available.
Accurately document patient information and maintain electronic medical records (EMR).
Maintain clean, well-stocked exam rooms and ensure medical equipment is prepared and functioning.
Educate patients on treatment plans, medication instructions, and preventive care as directed.
Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals with accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Support inventory control and assist with ordering clinical supplies.
Provide compassionate, timely responses to patient questions and deliver exceptional customer service.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Position Requirements
Education & Licensure:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Phlebotomist: Active WA state Phlebotomy certification (MA-P).
Maintain current BLS certification.
Experience & Skills:
Strong phlebotomy skills preferred.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Flexibility:
Willingness to cover weekends and holidays as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Accompany physicians to accurately record and document patient visits and procedures.
Create and review medical charts for accuracy and completion in accordance with practice guidelines.

Record diagnosis, discharge, prescriptions, and/or follow-up instructions.
Perform other duties as assigned by practice manager or physician.
