Pelican Plasma is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at the plasma donation center in south Shreveport. The phlebotomist will be responsible for the efficient and effective collection of plasma from donors by performing venipuncture, monitoring the automated plasmapheresis process and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines. They will also provide information to guide prospective donors through the donation process and provide post-venipuncture care. The plasma we collect from donors is used for development of lifesaving therapies and treatments. By creating a positive donor experience, the phlebotomist will help cultivate a pool of return donors and promote the production of essential plasma-derived medicines and therapies.
