Conduct intake with patients, measuring and recording vital signs, patient interview, and medical history; perform examinations and routine screenings, ensuring patients are informed and all questions and concerns are addressed for each procedure.
Render care within the homes of ArchWell Health members within service area, in conjunction with a primary care provider
Critically listen and engage with patients throughout appointment, ensuring needs and/or changing in patient conditions are reported to PCP, specialists, and/or other clinical personnel

Order all medical supplies, stock exam rooms, clean according to Infection Control Policies.
Follow all Clinic policies including the Nursing Dress Code Policy. Adhere to clinic performance standards.
Interview patient to determine chief complaint and document information in medical record.
Take vital signs and document results.
May perform office procedures such as but not limited to sterile urine cath, suture removal, staple removal or removal of casts under the direction of a N.P, P.A. or physician.
Order diagnostic tests, exams and procedures according to physician's order.
Prepare patient for physician exam.
Give patients instructions for home care, medications, etc. under N.P., P.A. or physician direction.
Give medications orally and subcutaneously under the direction of the N.P., P.A. or physician.
Administer allergy injections only under the direct supervision of the physician prescriber of the antigen.
Perform pre-certifications/referral for insurance companies as necessary.
Provide patient/family education and reinforce all patient teaching under provider's direction.
Call in prescriptions to pharmacy, provide patient instructions and document under provider's direction.
Schedule procedures/surgeries as necessary.
Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.
Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
High School graduate or GED preferred.
Graduate of an accredited medicalassisting program as required by the certifying body.
Licenses/Certificates
Maintain RMA, CMA or NCMA credentials according to requirements established by the certifying body.
Provide copy of credentials to Human Resources prior to expiration of certification period.
Must be a registered or certified MedicalAssistant through one of the following: American Med Techs (AMT), American Association of MedicalAssistants (AAMA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Health Career Association (NHA), American Allied Health (AAH) at time of hire, or National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP).
If a different credentialing body is presented it will need reviewed and approved by the Director of Nursing.
CPR certification per American Heart Association guidelines required within 30 days of hire date.

What You'll Do
Clinical Care & Phlebotomy
Perform venipuncture, collect and process blood specimens accurately and efficiently.
Administer injections, IM and subcutaneous treatments, and other clinical procedures per provider orders.

What You Have

About the role:
Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. Here, a commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.
How you will contribute:
* You will greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
* You will perform venipuncture of donors and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
* You will monitor donors during the donation process and manage donor reactions.
* You will perform all tasks required for the setup, verification, operation, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment within scope of training.
* You will install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on the plasmapheresis machines
* You will stock supplies, break down empty cartons and assist with proper disposal.
* You will take and record donor pulse, blood pressure, and temperature measures and monitor electronic donor questionnaire system.
* You will perform finger sticks, test sample, and record other donor measures to include hematocrit, total protein, and weight.
* You will enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS).
* You will coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors using the Debit Card system.
* You will support the center management team in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement, initiating changes to center processes through use of company approved procedures including 5S, Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen.
