- Prepare and scan documents such as autopsy reports and medical records from fatal aviation accidents into Filehold System within 2 business days after receipt of documents.
- Fatal Accident Data entry in the Medical Analysis Tracking Registry within 2 business days post-accident with 95% accuracy rate.
- Maintain Privacy and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance, in maintaining and improving data and records security, and in preventing divulgence of PII from any record, records system, or database 100% accuracy.
- De-identifying and disseminating archived data to internal and external requestors according to privacy standards 100 % accuracy
- Collaborate with individuals, including medical examiners/coroners, government accident investigators, and private citizens for obtaining information or requesting autopsy services and tox-box preparation for fatal accident investigation within 2 business days post-accident.
- Assist in entering and retrieving data from local and remote databases within 2 business days post-accident with 95% accuracy
- Assist in organizing, filing, retrieving, requesting, and maintaining a system of paper and electronic records in compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) requirements and regulations.

Qualifications

Position Objective:
The Medical Assistant is a clinical role and is responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting physicians with exams, and performing front-desk tasks. Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or providers' instructions to patients
Prepare both patient and room for examination
Complete patient phone calls including, but not limited to, proactive care coordination, medication reminders, appointment reminders, transitional care management, and complete documentation with telephone encounters accordingly.
Provide both patient and provider support during procedures by handing instruments or equipment to the physician as directed
Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment after use and dispose of contaminated supplies
Perform clinical duties including administration of oral and injectable medications, irrigation of eyes and ears, dresses and bandages wounds and incisions, starts and monitors IV infusion, and assists physicians with any/all procedures as requested
Perform in-office diagnostic tests including eye exams, electrocardiograph, administration of oxygen as ordered, pulse oximetry, peak flow, and inhalation treatments.
Perform in-office CLIA-waived lab tests
Carry out quality controls related to lab equipment and testing, complete and maintain lab-related logs, perform PT/INR utilizing CoaguChek/Coag Sense machine, and perform glucose testing utilizing glucometer
Accurately complete electronic medical records to include medical services rendered, test results, and supplies used
Monitor disposable inventory and place orders for medical supplies and pharmaceuticals as requested
Draw blood and process specimens for send-out
Provide patient education as directed by the provider
Assist front office tasks by performing additional clerical duties, including patient check-in/out, referrals, prescription medication management, inbound/outbound telephone calls etc.
Help maintain an adequate inventory of office medications and medical supplies and orders as needed
Assist in onboarding and training new Team Members

The Dental Assistant / Orthodontic Assistant will support the orthodontic team by providing clinical and administrative assistance to deliver high-quality patient care. The role involves chairside support during orthodontic procedures, preparation and sterilization of instruments, patient communication and education, and general office support to ensure smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities / DutiesClinical / Chairside Support
Assist the orthodontist during all phases of treatment (e.g. placing brackets and bands, tying wires, removing appliances)
Prepare teeth for bracket placement (etching, bonding, cleaning)
Secure and adjust orthodontic wires, springs, ligatures, elastics, and other components
Assist with taking impressions, digital scans, and intraoral photographs
Take and process X-rays or cephalometric / panoramic images (if allowed by state law)
Remove excess cement from appliances, polish and clean teeth as needed
Maintain a sterile environment: sterilize instruments, set up trays, handle infection control procedures
Manage instrument inventory, check supplies, reorder as necessary
Patient Interaction & Education
Greet and prepare patients for treatment; explain what to expect during procedures
Provide oral hygiene and appliance care instructions (brushing, flossing with braces, retainer care, etc.)
Answer patient questions, address concerns, and help ensure comfort during treatments
Monitor patient progress, document observations, and assist in treatment planning discussions
Administrative & Office Support
Update patient charts, treatment records, and tracking logs
Schedule patient appointments and manage the flow of daily treatment sessions
Order supplies and manage inventory for clinical operations
Assist in billing, coding, and insurance documentation as needed (in coordination with front office)
Ensure the treatment rooms and common areas are clean, stocked, and ready for patient care
Qualifications & Skills
Education / Certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a dental assisting program or orthodontic-specific training preferred
Certification / registration as a dental assistant or orthodontic assistant (varies by state)
CPR / BLS certification
Experience
1+ year experience in orthodontic assisting or general dentistry preferred
Experience working with orthodontic appliances (braces, retainers, aligners)
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Proficiency in orthodontic procedures and their protocols
Comfortable with digital imaging, X-rays, impressions, and intraoral cameras
Knowledge of infection control, sterilization, OSHA / CDC regulations

The Healthcare Technician sssures the prompt coordination of transportation of person served to appointments made by nursing such as urgent care, hospital and all appropriate documentation is accompanying the person served.
Work closely with doctors to assure a clear and concise line of communication
The Healthcare Technician follows daily shift responsibilities as designed by SCBH.
Assist/supervise/monitor in the maintenance and cleanliness of the nursing center office.
The Healthcare Technician assists in crisis intervention and/or initiation of emergency protocol if needed, including CPR and calling 911.
Support and implement SCBH philosophy with reference to all program components and person served personal dignity.

Qualifications:
