Occasional exposure to infectious agents when handling specimens or hazardous materials but potential for personal harm or injury is reduced when proper safety and health precautions are followed. Regular exposure to radiation. Minimum chance of injury once established safety procedures are followed. Ability to stand for long periods of time wearing a lead apron. Ability to lift or turn disabled patients. General Job Summary: The Medical Assistant Intern will support the department as assigned, while gaining experience and educational opportunities. (This is a full-time position that will support the Dermatology team at SouthPark Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm).
