Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 7:00 pm; shifts are 8 hours or 10 hours; this position requires floating to other locations in the region to meet clinic needs .
What You'll Do:
Maintain and update patient medical records, including vital signs, treatments, and medications, and review immunization records.
Prepare for patient visits by reviewing files, ensuring necessary reports are available, and collaborating with Providers for efficient scheduling and continuity of care
Prepare and maintain exam rooms, explain procedures to patients, provide education and coaching, respond to patient questions and concerns, and assist physicians during exams and procedures
Collect and prepare lab specimens, administer medication, and perform other assigned clinical responsibilities
Qualifications:
Minimum high school diploma or GED

Job Summary
The Certified MedicalAssistant/LPN assists with clinical operations at our Pasco location to keep patient flow smooth and efficient while providing a high level of patient care. Our office maintains a supportive and efficient working environment with a 2:1 CMA to provider ratio. Typically, our offices have 1-2 doctors, and each doctor sees between 14-22 patients per day. Duties:
Check in patients and record vital signs, medication history, drug allergy verification, review of symptoms list. Conduct preliminary test as appropriate based on the problem list or patient's presenting symptoms. Enter all data into the EMR system.
Perform procedures without error in a timely fashion as ordered by the provider.
Responsible for patient education including but not limited to medications care planning, disease process understanding, environmental controls and device teaching. Document specific take home messages to the patient in the EMR system.
Take inventory of supplies and re-stock as needed. Maintain sample medications, and printed information for patients.
Turn exam room to prepare for next patient.
Requirements:
We are seeking a candidate with the following:
Current Washington State CMA license
Must have completed the 7 hours state mandated AIDS/HIV training program.
CPR/First aid for healthcare professionals card.
Washington state insured MedicalAssistant certification or registration proof.

Qualifications
Professional and Technical Knowledge:
Possesses a basic level of written and verbal communication skills, computer skills, and mathematical skills typically acquired through completion of a high school program. Possesses familiarity with the processes and operations performed during the work day, facilitating patient flow, while accurately maintaining appropriate health information in the patient's electronic medical record. Ability to demonstrate basic medical terminology/anatomy.
License and Certification:
