Duties/Responsibilities:
Conduct intake with patients, measuring and recording vital signs, patient interview, and medical history; perform examinations and routine screenings, ensuring patients are informed and all questions and concerns are addressed for each procedure.
Render care within the homes of ArchWell Health members within service area, in conjunction with a primary care provider
Critically listen and engage with patients throughout appointment, ensuring needs and/or changing in patient conditions are reported to PCP, specialists, and/or other clinical personnel
Perform all tasks with a hyper focus on patient experience, including processing of patient phone messages, including returning calls; routing calls to other team members as appropriate; calling patients to obtain and relay pertinent information for the physician.
Change dressings, apply bandages, remove sutures and other first aid procedures; use CPR skills when necessary, all under physician supervision

Provide health coaching to a defined group of patients to support healthy lifestyle choices; follows up with coached patients via weekly calls.
Candidate should have the ability to report to homes of members within assigned region, and centers throughout the market with short notice. Organization will normally have schedule posted 1 week in advance, but there will be occasional needs to float candidate to other centers and adjust the schedule as needed. Any travel mileage in addition to travel to home center will be reimbursed at the standard rate.

Preparing equipment and supplies needed by the provider for each patient encounter.
Assisting with patient processing, under direction of clinic nurse or provider, escorts patients to exam rooms in order of immediate attention and appointment times.
Interviewing patients, measuring vital signs (i.e.: pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and accurately recording information on patients' charts and records.
Conducting vision screens, ear irrigations, finger sticks, phlebotomy, hearing screens, asthma nebulizer treatments, or other clinic approved procedures.

How you will contribute:

What You'll Do
Provide the best patient experience - from warmly welcoming patients and prepping them for their visit to thoughtfully answering their care-related questions.
Act as the right hand to the provider, supporting hands-on patient care by assisting during procedures, capturing detailed visit notes, fulfilling prescription orders, doing anything else needed to ensure the appointment is as smooth and complete as possible.
Keep the clinic running smoothly by staying on top of managing supplies, maintaining equipment, understanding the flow of exam rooms, and finding fun, creative ways to work smarter and more efficiently.

Qualifications/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Completion of Bachelor's Degree (and awaiting acceptance to PA, NP, or medical school).

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Medical office, procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
