What we ask of you:

* Record patient charting and all the clinician's notes in the digital patient chart as directed by the clinician.
* Support patient care by presenting treatment record, consents and health history to clinician prior to patient treatment.
* Ensure equipment is maintained according to manufacturer's guidelines.
* Work closely with Lead Dental Assistant to ensure adequate clinical supplies are on hand.
* Utilize technology by learning how to operate and give explanation/demonstration of how to operate to others.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Medical Scribe supporting psychiatric prescribers. In this role you will monitor patients and document psychiatric encounters, seeing first-hand what a provider does on a daily basis. You will observe how providers assess and diagnose their patients, create legal medical documents and be an integral part of a healthcare team. Responsibilities include working monitoring for patient safety, working alongside providers, accurately summarizing and documenting patient exams including chief complaints, diagnoses, treatment plans, orders, and medications into the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, assisting with exams as needed, reviewing charts to ensure accuracy, helping to maintain efficient patient flow in a fast paced environment, processing refill requests, prescription prior authorizations, responding to patient inquiries, and other duties as assigned.
We are seeking a professional and energetic candidate with strong interpersonal and communication skills who understands the importance of patient care. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy (EHR experience preferred) and possess a basic understanding of psychiatry principles. Position Summary:
The Scribe assists the Doctors of Ophthalmology and/or Optometry with documentation of the patient exam into the patient's electronic health record (EHR). The Scribe will also assist with facilitation of surgery and procedure scheduling and scheduling of return appointments as directed by the provider. Partners with other clinic staff to facilitate efficient clinic flow and ensure quality patient care. Starting pay is $18.50-21.00/hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Document patient exam in EHR, scribing all elements of the patient exam including contact lens template, procedure orders, e-prescribing medications and scheduling the return to clinic.
* Provide patient and family counseling/education as needed, including the creation of medication grids.
* Dispense medication and/or over the counter product samples as directed.
* Print and dispense glasses and/or contact lens prescriptions as directed.
* Review all chart notes and correspondence daily to ensure accuracy and completeness. Ensure chart documentation meets ICD-10 requirements.
* Obtain patient signature on consent documents for in lane procedures.
* Set up exam rooms per provider preference, keep exam rooms stocked and clean between patients; cleaned at end of each work day; assist in maintaining public spaces for professional appearance.
* Run EHR reports at end of clinic to ensure completion of patient documents.
* Partner with providers to prepare culture documents, ensure proper storage of specimens, contact lab for pickup and ensure specimen is in the lockbox for pick up.
* Attend trainings and stay current on requirements for Merit Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) measures, HIPAA compliance and Protected Health Information.
* Schedule return appointments and/or enter recalls in Electronic Practice Management (EPM) as ordered by the provider, including referrals to outside providers
* Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or experience required:
* High schedule diploma or equivalent.
* No previous experience required.
* Great experience for future medical students
* Keyboarding and computer knowledge.
* Previous experience with EHR systems and ophthalmology/optometry experience preferred.
* Bilingual a plus.

Position Summary:
The Scribe assists the Doctors of Ophthalmology and/or Optometry with documentation of the patient exam into the patient's electronic health record (EHR). The Scribe will also assist with facilitation of surgery and procedure scheduling and scheduling of return appointments as directed by the provider. Partners with other clinic staff to facilitate efficient clinic flow and ensure quality patient care. Starting pay is $18.50-21.00/hour.
Schedule:
This position works Monday-Friday with hours varying between 7:00am - 5:00pm and Saturday mornings on rotation 7:30a-12p.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Document patient exam in EHR, scribing all elements of the patient exam including contact lens template, procedure orders, e-prescribing medications and scheduling the return to clinic.
* Provide patient and family counseling/education as needed, including the creation of medication grids.
* Dispense medication and/or over the counter product samples as directed.
* Print and dispense glasses and/or contact lens prescriptions as directed.
* Review all chart notes and correspondence daily to ensure accuracy and completeness. Ensure chart documentation meets ICD-10 requirements.
* Obtain patient signature on consent documents for in lane procedures.
* Set up exam rooms per provider preference, keep exam rooms stocked and clean between patients; cleaned at end of each work day; assist in maintaining public spaces for professional appearance.
* Run EHR reports at end of clinic to ensure completion of patient documents.
* Partner with providers to prepare culture documents, ensure proper storage of specimens, contact lab for pickup and ensure specimen is in the lockbox for pick up.
* Attend trainings and stay current on requirements for Merit Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) measures, HIPAA compliance and Protected Health Information.
* Schedule return appointments and/or enter recalls in Electronic Practice Management (EPM) as ordered by the provider, including referrals to outside providers
* Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or experience required:
* High schedule diploma or equivalent.
* No previous experience required.
* Great experience for future medical students
* Keyboarding and computer knowledge.
* Previous experience with EHR systems and ophthalmology/optometry experience preferred.
* Bilingual a plus.
* 1-2 years related experience in a medical office or equivalent education preferred.
* Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Medical Assistant/LPN - Clinical Support - Full-Time/Part-Time/Per Diem

RESPONSIBILITIES
Hospital Corpsmen (HM) assist health care professionals in providing medical care to Navy personnel and their families. They may function as clinical or specialty technicians, medical administrative personnel and healthcare providers at medical treatment facilities. Specifically, Hospital Corpsmen may be called upon to:
Perform emergency medical treatment on SEALs, Seabees, Marines and other military personnel injured in the field, as well as on Sailors aboard ships or aircraft
Perform emergency dental treatment as well as construct dental crowns and bridges, process
dental X-rays and operate X-ray equipment
Serve as an operating room technician for general and specialized surgery
Help administer a wide range of preventive care and medications, including immunizations and intravenous fluids
Conduct physical examinations and assisting in the treatment of diseases and injuries
Maintain patient treatment records, conduct research and perform clinical tests
Assist Navy Physicians and Nurses in a variety of medical fields, including, but not limited to: radiology, physical therapy, phlebotomy, dental, surgery, family medicine, pathology, womens health and more
