JOB SUMMARY
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides each of their assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services following the current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care and assisted living facilities. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) ensures that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times.
Full Time | Night Shift
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Receive and report resident status at the beginning and end of each shift and as needed
Provide personal care to residents per their individualized plan of care
Document all pertinent information regarding care as assigned
Report all changes in residents' conditions to the Nursing Supervisor as soon as practical
Prepare residents for meals and assist to and from the dining areas
Record residents' fluid/food intake
Assist residents with toilet, dental, hair, and bath care
Keep residents dry and clean
Make room checks and verify resident location
Keep resident's rooms neat and clean
Assist residents with dressing/undressing as necessary
Prepare residents for activity and social events (church, services, parties, visitors, etc.)
Transport residents to/from appointments, activity and social programs, etc
Assist residents to walk with or without self-help devices as instructed
Perform vital signs, B/Ps, weights and other trained procedures as directed by management
Complete prevention and restorative care that includes but not limited to PROM, AROM, ambulation, transferring, bathing, grooming, and all other ADL care
Assist in turning, positioning, and repositioning of residents
Demonstrate a passion for caring as evidenced by interaction with co-workers, residents, families, and visitors
Maintain and support a culture of compliance, ethics and integrity
Maintain confidentiality and rights of resident, family, employee, and facility information in compliance with PHI HIPAA policies and applicable regulations
Maintain safe work environment and exhibits safe work practices
Perform all other duties as assigned

The Medical Supply Technician is responsible for performing a full range of sterilization, decontamination, and distribution of reusable medical equipment and supplies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Decontamination & Sterilization:
Receive and inspect contaminated instruments from various medical units (OR, dental, endoscopy, clinics, etc.).
Disassemble, clean, and disinfect instruments using ultrasonic cleaners, washers, and decontamination agents.
Monitor sterilization equipment, such as steam autoclaves, hydrogen peroxide gas plasma units, and high -level disinfecting reprocessors.
Ensure all items meet manufacturer's instructions for use (IFU) and VA standards.
Assembly & Quality Assurance:
Assemble and package surgical trays, medical instruments, and endoscopic devices.
Perform functionality checks and quality control testing (e.g., leak tests, biological monitoring).
Verify sterility indicators and maintain accurate sterilization records.
Storage & Distribution:
Stock sterile supplies using first -in, first -out (FIFO) inventory management.
Deliver sterilized instruments and medical equipment to clinical units.
Follow infection control guidelines and adhere to VA safety protocols.
Technical Proficiency & Compliance:
Maintain compliance with VA, Joint Commission, CDC, ANSI/AAMI, and AORN standards.
Participate in quality audits and performance improvement initiatives.
Utilize electronic tracking systems (e.g., Censitrac) for inventory management.
Compensation Details:
Hourly Pay Rate (Taxable): $28.00/hour
Overtime Pay Rate (Taxable): $42.00/hour
Weekly Travel Stipends (Non -Taxable for Eligible Travelers): Up to $1820.00
Total Weekly Gross Package: $2,940.00

Requirements
Education & Certification:
Certification from HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) or CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution).
Experience:
Minimum of two years of experience in sterile processing or medical supply distribution preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
Expertise in sterilization procedures and infection control.
Ability to operate sterilization equipment and conduct biological testing.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical instrumentation.
Clearances & Medical Requirements:
Tuberculosis (TB) testing within the last year.
Proof of MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tetanus (Td), and Influenza vaccinations.
Fingerprinting and background check required.

* Maintains a detailed knowledge of the surgery scheduling processes, functionality and structure to ensure Orthopedic Surgery Scheduling is seamless. Understands the implications of the data and how the data is utilized. • Participates in maintaining the integrity of the system data.
* Develops and maintains records and files in an organized manner.
* Communicates appropriately with customers to identify concerns and issues, investigates and coordinates resolution of non-routine problems.
* Initiates appropriate follow-up to ensure that all matters requiring attention are addressed promptly and efficiently.
* Designs and produces documents, forms, reports and data graphs for projects and programs based on needs identified by the staff and/or leadership. Duties include data gathering, database extractions, and data analysis for various projects and preparation of a variety of reports and data graphs requiring independent judgment with minimal supervision.
* Communication with patient on expectations, e.g. being late for scheduled appointment, wait times.
* Able to assist with patient service assistance needs as necessary and provide service recovery, e.g. coffee cards, lunch, gas cards.

Performs less complex dressing and treatments without assistance. Assist with cleaning, irrigating, and dressing complex wounds; documents and informs RN of non-healing wounds. Performs skin care measures. Removes uncomplicated sutures or skin staples as assigned by charge nurse or physician or mid-level provider and assists with minor surgical procedures.
Administers oral medication, performs subcutaneous and intramuscular injections and routine vaccines under direct supervision of a Physician, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Assist physician/provider with patient exams, including but not limited to patient positioning, collection of specimens, performance of non-invasive procedures, and general patient support.
Performs invasive procedures under the direct supervision of the clinic physician/provider.
Obtains blood specimens in a timely manner by venous puncture on patients of all ages without undue stress or injury to the patient while adhering to universal precautions procedures.
Retrieves test results and clinical documents.
Populates lab results into appropriate flow sheets accurately and in a timely fashion.
Maintains quality and safety compliance of the lab equipment.
Verifies accurate handling of all lab samples couriered from the clinic.
Ensures superior ongoing patient satisfaction and customer service.
Communicates effectively with internal and external customers.
Maintains professional standards related to clinical practices, and continuing education.
Maintains a safe and clean environment.
Practices fiscal responsibility and accountability.
Maintains adequate stock of supplies by monitoring par levels.
Assists with scheduling, reception and computer work as needed.
Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and/or financial practices.
Complies with the hospital's Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.
May be required to work in other clinic environments according to distribution of staff and patient loads.

Requirements and Qualifications:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent is required.
Certificate/License:Current Certification as a MedicalAssistant through one of the following programs is required (RMA, AAMA, NCCT, CMAC, AMCA). Current BLS certification is required.
Experience:A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience is preferred.
