Your Role as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
We are looking for a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team and provide high-quality care for our residents. The CMA plays a crucial role in ensuring proper medication administration and assisting residents with daily living activities in a home-like environment.
What You'll Do:
Administer prescribed medications to residents and maintain accurate medical records under the supervision of licensed staff.
Verify resident identity before medication administration and document medication dosage and time.
Monitor residents for responses to medication and report any adverse reactions to the supervising nurse.
Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
Recognize and promptly report any changes in resident conditions to charge staff.
Maintain accurate records of resident care, intake, and output as ordered.
Support co-workers by providing assistance as needed or requested.
Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas.
Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide tours when necessary.
Physical Demands:
Standing, sitting, walking, and changing positions frequently.
Lifting up to 25 lbs.; pushing, pulling, or lowering up to 100 lbs.
Ability to push a resident in a wheelchair up to 350 lbs.
Utilize safety equipment such as gait belts and mechanical lifts as required.
Safety Requirements:

Work Environment:

Overview:
The Plastic Surgery Division at Children?s Mercy Kansas City is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to work in our ambulatory specialty clinic as well as with the plastic surgeons in the OR for select cases. We seek candidates who are interested in providing comprehensive perioperative care to our patients, who communicate well, and embrace striving for the perfect patient and family experience. The plastic surgery and craniofacial multidisciplinary teams provide more procedures than other programs in the region, using a collaborative approach including specialists in nutrition, orthodontia, otorhinolaryngology, occupational therapy and genetics. Conditions treated in our program include a variety of congenital anomalies, cleft lip and palate, craniosynostosis, positional plagiocephaly, rare and complex syndromes, small jaws and airway obstruction, skull defects, and more.
Physician Assistants II (PA-II) provide proficient, comprehensive health care services to a defined patient population; obtaining the health history; performing a physical examination, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures; formulating and implementing a plan of care; and participating in patient and family education. Key Responsibilities
Clinical Documentation
Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters in real time, including consultations, treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up instructions.
Record patient history, current concerns, allergies, medications, and prior treatment details.
Capture detailed notes for injectables, energy-based devices, laser treatments, and skincare services.
Provider Support
Act as the provider's right hand during consultations and procedures, allowing them to focus on the patient.
Prepare and update treatment templates, charts, and procedural notes based on provider preferences.

Operational Accuracy

Patient Flow & Experience
Support patient intake by reviewing charts, prepping files, and ensuring all documentation is ready for the provider.
Help manage efficient patient flow by organizing charts and anticipating provider needs.
Relay treatment notes to the front desk for proper quoting, scheduling, and follow-up.
Quality & Record Keeping
Proofread all chart entries to ensure clarity, completeness, and correct terminology.
Track ongoing treatment plans and ensure continuity across visits.
Maintain accurate digital files, before-and-after photo documentation, and consent forms.
Communication & Collaboration
Partner closely with injectors, estheticians, and clinical staff to coordinate care.
Communicate documentation needs or missing information with the provider.
Assist in preparing reports or pulling clinical data as needed.
Qualifications
Required
Must be a medical professional, NP or PA

Your Role as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
We are looking for a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team and provide high-quality care for our residents. The CMA plays a crucial role in ensuring proper medication administration and assisting residents with daily living activities in a home-like environment.
What You'll Do:
Administer prescribed medications to residents and maintain accurate medical records under the supervision of licensed staff.
Verify resident identity before medication administration and document medication dosage and time.
Monitor residents for responses to medication and report any adverse reactions to the supervising nurse.
Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
Recognize and promptly report any changes in resident conditions to charge staff.
Maintain accurate records of resident care, intake, and output as ordered.

About the role:

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.
How you will contribute:
* You will greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
* You will perform venipuncture of donors and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
* You will monitor donors during the donation process and manage donor reactions.
* You will perform all tasks required for the setup, verification, operation, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment within scope of training.
* You will install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on the plasmapheresis machines
* You will stock supplies, break down empty cartons and assist with proper disposal.
* You will take and record donor pulse, blood pressure, and temperature measures and monitor electronic donor questionnaire system.
* You will perform finger sticks, test sample, and record other donor measures to include hematocrit, total protein, and weight.
* You will enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS).
* You will coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors using the Debit Card system.
