Ensures that labs, x-rays, and any follow-up appointments are attended by patient. Responsible for entering clinical, demographic, and insurance information in correct lab computer system or complete written specimen forms on tests performed and billing them accordingly. All medications must be signed out on the Medication Sign Out sheet- list required information - patient name, medication, and date. (This will be forwarded to the billing Office with daily encounter forms) Ensures that all nurse call backs/refills/prescription requests are done in a timely manner. Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM, no nights or weekends Duties may include but not limited to: Full triage Taking manual vitals/blood pressure EKG's Recording and updating patient information Chart prep Phlebotomy Medication refills Some travel may sporadically be required between other HVC offices to cover for PTO and sick leave. Mileage is reimbursed when travelling between offices. Requirements: Dependable team player is a must. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. If not already a nationally certified medical assistant, will be required to gain certification within six months of employment. (ex.
