Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Review, verify, and correct insurance records. Review account and correct demographics and A/R. Research claim activity; handle manual insurance claim requests; handle carve-outs; follow-up for payment.
Respond to phone, written, and e-mail inquiries to identify, research and resolve billing issues. Handling EOB's, submitting physician notes for protests and appeals, resubmitting corrected HCFA's, protesting denials and follow-up to ensure the claim reaches end of process.
Responsible for handling and maintaining current assigned work queues.
Possess knowledge to communicate with clinical departments, Insurance staff, Insurance companies, and many other third parties to resolve patient billing questions.
Work assigned reports and audit accounts to ensure proper disbursal, refunds and adjustments.
Educate patients on MAC policies; interpret their Explanation of Benefits and monthly statements.
Complete all additional assigned projects and duties.

Coordinate workers' compensation injury care appointments, referrals and testing within TSOH and Medical Associates Specialty departments and communicate with employers, employees, case managers, insurances, lawyers, and medical providers to provide information as appropriate under workers' compensation regulations
Review and manage documentation related to workers' compensation and monitor release of information to facilitate conformity to government legislation, industrial, and OSHA standards as it relates to services provided

Full-time or part-time generalist or pediatric focused position primarily consists of individual outpatient assessment and psychotherapy, with occasional opportunities for inpatient consultation

Responsibilities Include:
Provide outpatient psychological services, including diagnostic assessment and psychotherapeutic intervention
Consult with other providers within and outside the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology
Produce complete, accurate, timely progress notes and psychological evaluation reports in the EMR
Participate in meetings and complete all other assigned projects and administrative tasks
Additional roles may include therapy addressing relationship or family concerns, group therapy, psychological assessment, cognitive testing, and/or inpatient consultation to medical and psychiatric units, dependent upon individual areas of interest, experience, and competence
Compensation Overview (based on full-time schedule):

Qualifications:
Education:
Doctorate degree in psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution. Candidates must be licensed or license eligible as a psychologist in Iowa and eligible to join the National Register of Health Service Psychologists (National Register).
Experience:
Completion of a one-year supervised postdoctoral experience that meets criteria for Iowa licensure and National Register membership. Experience in assessment, consultation, and intervention relevant to the position.

Schedule: 80 hours per two week pay period including evening shifts and a Saturday or Sunday weekend rotation.

What You Will Be Doing:
Perform technical laboratory functions in microbiology, diagnostic immunology, chemistry, hematology and immunohematology.
Perform instrument maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
Report laboratory test results.
Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures; collect other laboratory specimens; and properly identify and label specimens.
Complete other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
