Job Summary
Operates shuttle bus and/or passenger coach-type vehicles. Safely transports passengers to various destinations while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Adheres to assignments in accordance with scheduled shuttle routes prepared by the Manager, Supervisor, and/or Dispatcher. Reports to the Supervisor of Transportation (or to a designated individual in the Supervisor's absence).
Qualifications
* Provide safe, courteous, and professional service to passengers while en route to/from destinations. Follow established routes and departure times. Communicates with dispatch for guidance on any detours/delay
* Operates vehicles in accordance with Mass General Brigham Fleet Safety Program Policies and Procedures, as well as in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
* Maintains an accurate log documenting the number of passengers, trips completed, mileage, interior/exterior vehicle inspection, and other information that might be requested.
* Ensures adherence to passenger limits, both seated and standing
* Assists passengers with disabilities and others needing assistance to board and disembark from the vehicle via the wheelchair lift.
* Reports any emergencies/concerns with vehicle and/or passengers immediately to the Supervisor and/or Dispatcher.

Responsibilities
Inspect assigned vehicle; check fluid levels, gas, and air pressure and adjust accordingly to ensure safe and proper operation. Complete vehicle inspection report daily and report any problems to the supervisor.
Verify all orders are properly processed and bagged for delivery.
Ability to follow pre-assigned delivery routes.
Meet the daily deadlines of scheduled medication deliveries.
Return all items sent back by the community to the appropriate area after each run.
Complete and file all documentation required regarding deliveries, including written and digital signatures establishing proof of delivery
Assist in the process of community returns in pharmacy software according to policies and procedures.
Communicates any client concerns to management.

Responsibilities based on Route/Location
Complete on-site medication replenishments at the client communities on a regular schedule.
Physical Requirements
The various responsibilities for a delivery driver are often physically demanding and require that the driver be in good physical condition.
Must be able to withstand prolonged or considerable walking, standing, reaching, stooping and bending.
Must be able to lift, position or transfer supplies and equipment; minimum lifting required is 60 lbs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license and a "violation free" driving record as per the driver's eligibility requirements.
General computer knowledge including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot basic computer problems.

Responsible for providing safe, courteous transportation service and serve as support staff for the Engage Life Director or Maintenance Director. Coordinates vehicle pre-maintenance, maintenance, and repair to ensure vehicle longevity.
Drive vehicle from community to social and other various destinations according to assigned schedule.
Assist residents into and out of vehicle in a safe manner.
Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
Practice safe driving techniques at all times.
Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories and report and coordinate vehicle maintenance repairs.
Establish and monitor daily and weekly trip inspection and preventative maintenance programs, as well as maintain records regarding the maintenance of all vehicles.
Deliver groceries and other belongings to resident's apartments.
Assist the Engage Life Department in activities and programs as needed.
Ensure charges are submitted to the business office daily for community travel expenses.
Maintain a safe driving record according to Company guidelines.
Handle emergency situations and basic First Aid.
Report potentially unsafe conditions to the Executive Director.
May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Salary Range The wage range for this position is $18.00/hr - $21.60/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience
