This employee will set up CPAPs, Respiratory Assist Devices (RADs), maintain CPAP/RAD Compliance, manage CPAP/RAD supplies/inquiries/orders, call md INR missed appointments, manage Oximetry process, and complete all other tasks assigned/related to the functionality of the center.

Job Responsibilities:

* Performs CPAP/RAD setups in a timely and professional manner
* May also perform setup of oxygen equipment and other DME in patients' homes as well
* This includes completion of all required documentation, instructs patient on the safe and proper use of equipment

* Cleans rental equipment when returned to the center, in accordance with policies and procedures
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage area

* Monitors CPAP/RAD Compliance report and follows up with non-compliant patients
* Receives and responds to patient requests for CPAP/RAD supplies, including insurance verification, confirmation of the specific supplies needed, and arranging for them to be shipped to the patient
* Monitors md INR Compliance report and follows up with non-compliant patients
* Manage the center's oximetry process
* Follows applicable policies and procedures of the company, including those in the Safety & Regulatory Manual including but not limited to General Safety, OSHA, and Emergency Planning
* Responsible for participating in on-call responsibilities for the center
* The frequency of participation will depend on the size of the center and the number of employees sharing the responsibility

* Represents the company through professional personal appearance, patient care activities
* May serve as a backup to other employees for vacation, illness, or other periods of absenteeism
* Requires use of personal vehicle and a valid driver's license

Education and Experience:

* Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
* Valid driver's license
* Completion of company's Equipment Certification Program

Physical Demands:

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

The Distribution Service Representative, under the direction of the Transportation Distribution Supervisor, performs the daily activities of picking up client specimens, keeping accurate counts, maintaining the integrity of specimens for delivery to lab, and distributing supplies and other items to clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Pick up specimens from clients according to established procedures and timetables.
* Deliver specimens to designated drop off point(s).
* Ensure that the integrity of the specimens is not compromised during transport.
* Deliver reports and supplies to clients on an assigned route.
* Maintain an accurate log of specimens, reports, and supplies picked up or dropped off on an assigned route.
* Record clients' requests for supplies and special services, and forward them to the appropriate person or department.
* Interact with clients on a daily basis, forwards client concerns to coordinator or local supervisor for corrective action.
* Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude.
* Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands.
* Perform routine inspection of assigned vehicle (i.e., gas, tires, appearance, fluid levels, etc.). Report any problems to coordinator or local supervisor immediately and maintain accurate monthly logs.
* Adhere to all safety procedures.
* Thoroughly understand and participate in defensive driving techniques.
* Remain current in the training and knowledge of specimen handling.
* Completes special assignments as required by coordinator or local supervisor.
* Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the industry's best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data.
* Must be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all Corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies.

EDUCATION & LICENSURE:
* High School Diploma or G.E.D
* Valid and current driver's license
* Good DMV report

* One year of prior job-related experience preferred.

*Overview: *

Transport blood, blood products, campus mail, supplies, and medical equipment between processing/distribution centers, branches, blood drive sites and hospitals.

*Position Schedule: PART-TIME POSITION - Candidate needs to have the ability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 11:30PM - 7:00AM.*

*Training Schedule: Candidate needs to have the ability to train on the following schedule, Monday thru Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00PM, for approximately 1-2 weeks.*

* Efficiently and accurately transport unprocessed/processed blood and blood products, campus mail, supplies and medical equipment utilizing assigned vehicle (van/small truck)

* Practice safe driving skills during transport; adhere to all driving regulations

* Load and unload vehicles practicing safe techniques with lifting, pushing and pulling

* Deliver inventory to specified points within a designated route (may include branches, hospitals, field trip sites, headquarters, & mobile units); may be required to deliver (travel with) packages utilizing public transportation in emergency situations (e.g. airline, bus, train etc.)

* Keep log of items received and delivered; document daily activities as required

* Conduct basic safety/readiness checks of assigned vehicle prior to departure per SOP; report any problems or mechanical issues

* Work as back-up on-call driver for other shifts or routes as needed

* Notify supervisor of any concerns, issues and/or delays

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

* High school diploma or equivalent. Six months to one year route delivery experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:

* Current and valid driver's license in good standing.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
* Ability to operate a motor vehicle and drive vehicle for extended periods of time

* Ability to drive city streets and freeways safely; determine most efficient routes

* Knowledge of safe operating procedures

* Knowledge of proper handling of blood and blood products

* Ability to keep accurate records

* Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions

* Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

* Ability to work with minimal supervision

* Ability to be self-motivated and self-disciplined

* Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work

* Ability to perform tasks effectively utilizing digital technology and communication tools (smartphones, tablets, etc.)

* Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
