Overworked, no training, bad reputation of company

Nothing. I followed training instructions and emailed the VP of sales per the instructions. She used to be lower in the company. She didn't bother to email me back so I followed up, again not knowing who she was. Right after I followed up, I got a call from my manager asking why I was emailing the VP of sales. Who does she think is out there busting their tails to pay her salary. I was trying to learn more to do a better job.
Better training, VP of sales needs to know who is out making the money for this company.
