The Director of Surgical Services ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. Investigate and report all work comp incidents, including the support of the claims management process, including working with the claims adjuster. Also investigates and processes general liability (patient injuries) and property incidents. Participates in all legal proceedings when necessary. Verify expert witness testimony requests in coordination with the MDP legal team. Coordinate and schedule with the requesting entity (i.e., state dental boards, coroner death investigations, etc.)

The Hospice Clinical Director is responsible for ensuring the coordination and management of patient care.
