The MedicalDirector is responsible for leadership, quality assurance, oversight and overall medical management of the clinic within the boundaries of state and federal regulations and accreditation standards. Responsibilities
Role Responsibilities:
Oversees and is responsible for the quality, efficiency and management of delivering medical services within the clinic;
Defines protocols and assists in decision making pertaining to the medical care of patients that is consistent with current medical practice and CTC policies and procedures;
Provides oversight to other professional medical staff, as well as administrative or support staff, as designated;
Serves as a liaison between the medical staff, other clinic staff, division or corporate staff, and organizational leadership;
Monitors assigned staff to adherence to established medical and clinic policy;
Provides back up call coverage;
Serves in a teaching capacity for the training and development of other personnel;
Responsible for securing physical exam and history from the patient, reviewing medical records, making medical evaluations, request appropriate diagnostic testing, prescribes medications and treatments, assists in the management of behavioral or mental health problems of patients, maintains current medical records in accordance with federal or state regulation, and clinic or corporate policies and procedures; and,
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education & Experience Requirements:
Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO)
Prefer previous experience in addiction treatment programs, MAT or substance use (SUD) treatment
No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment
Licenses/Designations/Certifications:
Current license to practice medicine by the state in which the facility or clinic(s) operates
Board certification or certificate of admissibility for board certification by American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), or Board Certification within Addiction Medicine preferred.
Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working
Additional specific DEA credentials may be required, per state and clinic regulations or policy

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Clinical Director will be responsible for the daily functioning of outpatient services for MHA; including recruitment and supervision of clinical staff. ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plans and implements the orientation and training of employees per program guidelines.

Provides oversight to the Counseling Center program and staff, ensuring appropriate accreditation and licensing standards are met.

Works with Senior Director and Agency depts. and develop strategies to maximize MHA participation with reimbursement systems in a manner that achieves maximum care benefits at most affordable cost levels.
Identify and establish contacts as well as meet with potential referral sources. Present information regarding MHASCK in a manner favorable to the mission and philosophy of the program.
Ensures compliance with payer systems, including utilization review functions.
Completes quality assurance and utilization review measures including peer reviews, CQI, annual and strategic planning, etc.
Manages operational expenses within an approved budget. Prepares and processes necessary program reports.
Provides therapy services to clients and patients, individually and in group sessions. Provides clinical assessments, formulates diagnoses, develops treatment plans, provides ongoing assessments and referrals to ensure client needs are met, initiates discharge planning.
Maintains appropriate client records, maintains confidentiality of records.
Collects documented outcomes, tracking efficiency, effectiveness, satisfaction and access indicators.
Participates as a CARF team member and assures service delivery in conjunction with CARF guidelines.
Become familiar with and proficient in various substance abuse and treatment resources for the purpose of being able to obtain, compile and present aggregate information/data requested from Administration.
Prepares/submits reports and approves timesheets, purchase requests, expense reports, and case file information as necessary for charts, and agency operations.

The Clinical Director is expected to have previous supervisory experience, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be highly detail oriented. The position requires skills in data entry, database maintenance, and computer skills. Computer experience required, including database management. Must have knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions. A valid Kansas driver's license and access to personal vehicle required.

The Regional Medical Officer (RMO) Region 4 (Pacific) serves as the senior clinical leader overseeing medical readiness operations across the U.S. Pacific region that includes remote mainland locations and U.S. territories in the Pacific. This role supports a federally funded medical readiness initiative delivering physical exams, screenings, dental services, and preventative care to military personnel, including those in urban centers, remote locations, and underserved communities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the regional clinical lead, overseeing medical readiness operations within assigned geographic area.
- Coordinate and monitor delivery of services (physical exams, immunizations, dental screenings) to meet DoD readiness requirements.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, HIPAA, and program protocols.
- Collaborate with chief medical officer, clinicians, mobile teams, subcontractors, and scheduling units to optimize service delivery.
- Provide clinical oversight, review documentation, and address escalated medical concerns.
- Support credentialing, audits, quality assurance reviews, and reporting requirements for federal stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between program leadership and regional providers to maintain operational efficiency and quality of care.
Minimum Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
- 5+ years of clinical experience, preferably in occupational health, preventive medicine, or military readiness programs.
Additional Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region, including weekend overnight stays, to support mobile or remote readiness events.
- Experience supporting DoD or federal healthcare programs.
- Familiarity with medical readiness requirements and electronic health record systems. (Preferred)
- Leadership experience managing dispersed clinical teams. (Preferred)
- Specialty in Primary Care, Occupational Medicine, Pediatrics, or Preventative Medicine. (Preferred)

The Behavioral Health Director provides administrative guidance and supervision to mental health staff within a correctional setting. In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, the Behavioral Health Coordinator oversees that all clinical needs are being met in order to provide quality behavioral/mental health services.
Qualifications
Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required
Active LCP (Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist), LCMFT, LSCSW, LCPC license in the state of Kansas
Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification
Minimum of two years' supervisory experience preferred
Three years' experience with behavioral/mental health in a correctional and/or mental health services environment preferred

This position requires an on call rotation and may involve one weekend shift. The weekend shift will have a shift differential as well.
