Mobile Integrated Healthcare is the provision of healthcare using patient-centered, mobile resources in the out-of-hospital environment (American College of Emergency Physicians, 2020). At Henry Ford Health System Mobile Integrated Health is an integrated service designed to enhance a patients experience by providing comprehensive, safe and efficient in-home care as an alternative to an emergency department visit or hospitalization. The Mobile Integrated Health Medic for Population Health Management is an interdependent member of the care team who is responsible for performing comprehensive assessments, diagnostic testing and medical treatments under the direction of a physician in a patients home or current residence.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

+ Three to five (3-5) years of clinical experience.

+ Community Paramedic experience desirable.

+ Strong clinical skills with knowledge of emergency medicine and chronic disease management.

+ Extensive knowledge of pharmacology, anatomy and pathophysiology as well as related clinical pathways and implications in high-risk populations.

**About the role:**

Join Takeda as the Head, Global Medical Publications where you will be accountable for Takeda global publication policies, processes, systems, and budgets across all therapeutic areas and compounds meeting the definition of a global program; may have responsibility for select regional activity. You will lead the Global Publications Center of Excellence to provide publication services and support to Takeda's Business Units, Regions and Local Operating Companies (LOCs)

You will also ensure optimal use of internal resources and development of outsourced model; the efficient and effective management of Publication Teams, and alignment with Global Medical Strategy Teams; the development of efficient and standardized processes, including global publication strategies and quality consistency programs; and ensures development and delivery of training programs for compliance with global processes and policies across geographic regions. Ensure Takeda establishes and maintains appropriate cutting-edge practices and supporting tools to enhance ethical and efficient business activities; communicates effectively with internal business partners to educate on ethical publication practices and policies; identifies potential risks of specific publication-related activities and proposes solution to appropriately support the objectives of internal business partners.

As part of the Global Medical Affairs team, you will report to the Head, Global Medical Functions and work with the Publications group.

**How you will contribute:**

+ Development of global publication policies reflecting current good publication practices according to industry and regulatory standards

+ Define best practices, identifies high-risk activities, and provides risk-mitigation steps for publication-related activities.

+ Ensure global establishment of publications-related operations, programs, and supporting systems

+ Maintain close working relationship with Global Medical Heads, Global Medical Directors, heads of Regional Medical Affairs offices, TDC, TPI, and TPC to ensure appropriate alignment of activities and efforts, including effective management of Publications Teams and appropriate contribution to the Global Medical Strategy Teams

+ Set publications indirect budget; works with department personnel to identify resource-optimizing opportunities through process evaluations; demonstrates appropriate resource planning to ensure adequate staffing for successful implementation of department strategies and activities

+ Oversea and advise on appropriate direct budget for publication initiatives and plans at all stages of the product life cycle

+ Evaluate established processes against audit requirements; works with department personnel to modify processes where needed to ensure highest potential for successful audit

+ Work with regional Medical Affairs personnel to educate on and support alignment of regional- and LOC-based publication activities with GMA publication policies and practices.

**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree required, Pharmacist, PharmD, PhD or MD preferred

+ 10+ years combined experience in pharmaceutical industry, and academic research, or healthcare management. Focused Therapeutic area expertise is strongly desired.

+ Understands and delivers critical capabilities of a modern global specialty medicine medical affairs organization: clinical research, evidence generation, value demonstration, medical communication, medical information, publication activities, congress presentations, interaction with Medical Science Liaison networks, compliance, and public speaking.

+ Additionally, a solid familiarity with the entire commercialization process and the marketplace dynamics that impact organizational decisions and deliverables.

+ Senior management experience in Global Medical Affairs or related field, leading a medium to large organization and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders

+ Proven track record of leading and driving business process transformation and organizational culture change as well as delivering on programs with complex business deliverables

+ Operational experience in pharmaceutical drug development with significant direct exposure to clinical development

+ Track record of successful leadership, management, and development of large, multi-disciplinary globally dispersed teams. Strong judge of talent with the ability to make tough talent decisions.

+ Health care business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry

+ Experience operating in a multi-disciplinary drug development environment including international experience and exposure to a variety of therapeutic areas.
