Responsibilities Regularly performs laboratory procedures in the assigned scientific sections of the Clinical Lab. As a generalist; performs all routine and other procedures. Correct procedures done and 100% accuracy within procedure limits, and turnaround as stated in the procedure manual. Pending lists are reviewed with proper hand off to the next shift. Performs, follows policies for and documents specimen rejection. Works only within the scope of training and regulations. Performs other duties as assigned by the CLS in charge, supervisor or director. Performs necessary quality control procedures and maintains records. 100% compliance with QC protocols for running controls and accepting results.
