Responsibilities Performs various laboratory tests, evaluates data, verify the validity of patient test results through the evaluation of quality control sample values prior to reporting patient test results. Obtains blood and other body fluids from inpatients/outpatients of all ages, employees etc. as requested by authorized personnel. Operates hospital computer system acquiring necessary patient information to enter, delete or credit the patient's accounts. Perform preventative maintenance and follows equipment manufacturers troubleshooting guide to solve instrument problems. Title: Lab Technician Responsibilities Conduct sensory, physical, and chemical tests on finished products. Evaluate and ensure completeness of the Bill of Materials. Record and maintain test data using the LIMS system. Report nonconformances and initiate corrective actions. Inspect manufacturing equipment and ensure sanitation standards. Participate in internal proficiency and external check sample programs. Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Assist with Raw Material testing and Certificate of Analysis (COA) reviews. Inspect finished product packaging for correct labeling and configuration. Approve and apply final wrap with automated equipment. Perform wet chemistry product testing and equipment inspections. Conduct audits and procedural checks on the manufacturing floor. Rotate stations weekly, spending 70% of time in the laboratory and 30% on the manufacturing floor. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field. 6-12 months of experience in quality assurance or control. Proficiency in wet chemistry techniques. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Schedule This is a Monday-Friday schedule from 2pm-10pm.
