About the Job
In this role, the Medical Lab Scientist- Lab Core will is responsible for supporting the delivery of patient care by performing laboratory testing that is utilized in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. This includes waived, moderate and high complexity testing. *
Experience with waived, moderate, and high complexity testing in a "clinical" laboratory setting through education or work experience required*
What you'll do
Performs all laboratory testing, including the pre-examination phase in accordance with standard operating procedures and accreditation guidelines to support the delivery of patient care.
Conducts and documents established quality control procedures on analytical tests, equipment, reagents, media, and products; evaluates the results of quality control testing and implements corrective action according to established protocols to ensure the accuracy and quality of patient testing.

Adhere to laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analyses, result reporting, and record maintenance.

What Will You Do in This Role
Provide cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on a variety of medical devices
Complete all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure complete documentation for billing and required regulatory compliance.
Communicate with clinical staff on the topics of equipment features, functionality, etc.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license. Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interfacing.
