1. Organizes, directs and supervises functions and activities of the laboratory's second shift personnel; Specimen Processing, Clinical Lab and Phlebotomy areas. 2. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree, MT (ASCP) or equivalent or AS degree with a minimum of 5 years hospital laboratory experience. Prior laboratory supervisory experience preferred. Outstanding communication skills, excellent leadership ability, solid understanding of laboratory compliance issues and ability to use standard word processing and spreadsheet software. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
