    Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician MLT/Scientist to join our team! You will be responsible for performing medical tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. 24/7 hospitals must be able to work 2nd and 3rd shifts as some department have a rotation for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Responsibilities: Collect and organize blood, tissue, and other bodily fluid samples from patients Prepare samples for routine testing and analysis Properly record results for further analysis and easy reference Monitor inventory samples and supplies Maintain a clean work environment Work under the supervision of a medical technologist Qualifications: Previous experience as a clinical technician or in other related fields Familiarity with common medical terminology Experience in a laboratory setting Strong organizational skills Must be ASCP certified Degree or enough science credits to qualify for ASCP (Copy of degree or transcripts) Copy of MLT Certification by an approved organization such as the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), American Medical Technologists (AMT) or National Certification Agency for Medical Laboratory Personnel (NCA). Copy of degree or transcripts BLS (American Heart Association approved) (If you do not have this initially you can still be accepted) FLU shot within a year (If you do not have this initially you can still be accepted) Pay rate $32/hr plus benefits such as paid holiday, 80 hours of vacation, 56 hours of such, health dental and vision options, as well as short/long term disability and life insurance.
