Summary: A Medical Laboratory Technologist is required to perform routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. Responsible for operation of the laboratory. Mycology and/or Bacteriology experience are a must. Review and validate test results; identify and resolve discrepancies or abnormal findings in a timely manner. Adhere to laboratory SOPs, CLIA standards, and quality assurance practices. Monitor and document quality control data, instrument maintenance logs, and reagent inventory. Collaborate with fellow technologists, laboratory assistants, and supervisory staff to maintain efficient workflow. Participate in proficiency testing, competency assessments, and continuing education activities. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the Laboratory Information System (LIS). Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper handling of biohazardous materials. You Have: Must meet the qualifications requirements set forth in CFR 493.1489 Bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical technology, or nursing from an accredited institution Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical chemistry and/or hematology laboratory experience Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
