This person will work with the phlebotomy personnel to assure that adequate samples are obtained and dispatched to the technical areas and reference laboratories in a timely manner. Other information: WORKING CONDITIONS High stress position with exposure to dangerous infectious materials, odorous chemicals and specimens. May be exposed to low levels of radiation, electrical hazards and low levels of carcinogens. High exposure to needles and sharps. All working reagents containing hazardous materials listed in detail in the "Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Manual" available to all employees. Incumbent is responsible for this information.
