The Associate Analytical Technician supports manufacturing operations by performing laboratory analyses, maintaining analytical systems, and ensuring data integrity. Assistant to the Instructor of the Introductory Laboratories (Phys121 and Phys122). The student LA will help students taking the course through their laboratory work, including problem solving, equipment demonstration, troubleshooting, and preparation. The LA will attend a weekly pedagogy meeting and be present for labs. Responsibilities: The student LA will be expected to interact with students in a respectful manner, in keeping with the values of the Physics and Astronomy Community. They will attend a 30-min weekly pedagogy meeting, and attend a three-hour lab. We expect 3.5 hrs of work per week, for roughly 12 weeks.
