The selected candidate will be working in a highly regulated environment to prepare components intended for transfusion. Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to) * Prepare blood and blood products * Perform the lab audit process which includes the quarantine, release and disposal of blood products based on disease testing results * Filter blood using dockable filters to provide leuko-reduced products * Perform general maintenance and cleaning of instruments and department * Data processing and input * Label all available apheresis products and quarantine/discard products, as necessary Qualifications * High school diploma or GED * Valid driver's license.
