Core Responsibilities Under the limited direction of the Skills and Simulation Coordinator, incumbent supports lab operations for all nursing lab activities for the School of Nursing and External Users; this includes but not limited to the following: * Coordinating and organizing all supplies needed for teaching and exam sessions. * Set-up and break-down of physical assessment and skills labs. * Assist with maintaining inventory and par levels, for disposable and non-disposable supplies. * Pre-set/stock all labs and simulation areas. * Operate and maintain skills lab equipment (manikins, task trainers, beds, and other medical equipment) and supplies. * Assist Director, Lab Coordinator, and other Technicians to coordinate, prepare, and maintain schedules, equipment, and other required resources for all exam and teaching sessions. * Troubleshoot equipment when problems arise. * Facilitate repair and maintenance of laboratory equipment when needed. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in related field with 2 years of experience, or combination of equivalent work experience and education (Associates Degree and 4 years of experience or High School Diploma and 6 years of experience). * Proficient in network technology. * Proficient at working with audio/visual equipment and computers (hardware, software, and basic applications). * Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both orally and written. * Ability to multi-task. * Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment-related visas). Preferred Qualifications: * Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS). * Experience with data tracking and continuous Quality Improvement. * Experience with healthcare education lab operations and budgets. Work Hours: Variable during normal hours of operation Monday-Saturday, 8am-10pm (dependent on programmatic needs). Hourly Rate: $25.50 per hour.
