This person will participate in Quality Control and quality improvement activities, assists in activities for achieving accreditation and corporate compliance for Cytology, and maintains proficiency in all aspects of performance of a Cytologist - such as: primary screening of Cytology specimens, specimen preparation, preparation of Cytology reports and statistics, and maintaining records, supplies and competencies. Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Essential Functions Examines GYN & Non GYN slides under microscope to identify abnormalities in cell structure. Perform troubleshooting specimen/test order problems and notifying management if applicable. Participating in work-related educational seminars, surveys, in-services (CAP, ASCP; MediaLab).
