    Job Description Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technologist Reports to: Lab Supervisor FLSA Status: Exempt Summary: CNY Fertility is a renowned fertility center offering advanced treatments like IVF, IUI, and egg freezing. Performs laboratory testing to include endocrinology assays, urinalysis, semen analysis, semen cryopreservation and semen wash. Performs required quality control, quality assurance and proficiency testing. Maintains stock of necessary equipment, supplies, liquid nitrogen dewars, samples and other materials throughout the work area. Routine maintenance, calibration and validation are performed as required. Uphold all CNY Fertility procedures/protocols and accrediting agency regulations. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent computer literacy. Ability to multitask in fast paced environments. What You Bring: Bachelor of Science/MT/MLT required 1+ years' experience in clinical lab setting Andrology (sperm count, motility, and morphology), and/or endocrinology with the Roche analyzer experience preferred. Experience with laboratory software preferred. Strong basic math skills, computer skills, procedural discipline, and attention to detail are essential. Identifies any potential patient concerns and brings these issues to the attention of the Office Coordinator or Physician as appropriate.
