EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience of 3 years in a clinical laboratory. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Laboratory skills and experience General science background Attention to detail and ability to work independently Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skill Personal computer skills, strong typing ability, and knowledge of Microsoft Office. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Extensive sitting, phone, and computer use Capable of standing continuously for up to 2 hours Extend and reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers Occasionally required to bend, kneel, stoop, or crouch May be required to lift, move, and carry up to 20 lbs. Moderate microscopy Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
