This role requires a degree of flexibility, including participation in a limited weekend and holiday rotation based on laboratory needs. Key Responsibilities Assist with laboratory operations, audits, compliance checks, and reporting, including sample collection and handling. Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes. Manage and maintain cryogenic storage equipment, including handling and inventorying cryopreserved specimens (sperm, oocytes, embryos). Coordinate transportation of cryopreserved specimens with third-party vendors while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Temp Flexibility in work time is needed. This position may be required to work between 4pm and 2:30am for 10 hours per day Monday-Friday plus 6am and 4:30pm for 10 hours per day Weekends. This individual is responsible for setting up mixing tanks and blending machines for production support of the production lines per instructions from the department supervisor in a manner that is timely and safe in accordance with all quality standards per batch mixing work orders and mixing instructions. This individual will also fill drums with blended product when needed. This individual will work with minimal supervision but also contribute to a positive team atmosphere. Responsibilities also include safe operation of equipment (mixers, scales, meters, pumps, forklifts, etc.), raw material handling and measuring, communication with material handlers, and sampling of raw materials for the purpose of providing Certificates of Analysis, updated SDS and other documents for the Lab Technician.
