Quality Control and Compliance: Perform and document quality control and quality assurance activities. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., CLIA, CAP, and state regulations). Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions. Data Management: Enter and verify test results in the laboratory information system (LIS). Maintain accurate records of procedures and results in compliance with organizational policies. Safety and Maintenance: Follow strict safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment regularly. Manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary supplies. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field. Licensure: Valid state license (if applicable) and certification as a CLS (e.g., ASCP, AMT). Experience: Minimum of 25 years of experience as a CLS, with proficiency in multiple areas of laboratory testing. Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced knowledge of laboratory techniques and protocols. Proficiency in using laboratory information systems and automated equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
