    Assigns, oversees, and reviews the work of employees. Directs all phases of work, quality, service, and costs; and performs tests or assays as required. Responsible for reviewing/approval of specialized and problem reports for accuracy. Manages laboratory QC including equipment calibration. Monitors quality of work for compliance to laboratory standards. Provides technologist coverage as necessary during peak workloads and staff absences.
