The Opportunity Responsible for greeting donors at the plasma collection center and conducting a series of registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager. The Role In compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), assists qualified donors in completing the screening process. The screening procedures includes but are not limited to: assessing the self-administered health history, answering basic medical questions associated with the donation process, referring donors to medical staff when appropriate and performing health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature. Upon completion of the appropriate training, may educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma. 2nd shift & 3rd shift Scope and Purpose for Medication Technician: Responsibility for accurate and timely delivery of medications and treatments to residents, in keeping with the physician orders. Also responsible for communicating any concerns to the physician. Additionally, will perform services of resident support staff as directed in the individual service plan. Duties and Responsibilities: Administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by physician Appropriate documentation of medication and treatment administrations Documentation of events and incidents Summary documentation in resident records Direct care and service to residents as needed Communicate appropriately with residents, family members, physician, support staff, and ancillary care providers *Part-time and full-time available Hourly Range: $16.00-$21.75 per hour Appledorn Assisted Living Center South is licensed by the Michigan Department of Human Services, Office of Child and Adult Licensing as a Home for the Aged.
