This key member of the College and School Counseling Department provides clinical support to students and families navigating the academic and social-emotional challenges while integrating the school's mission of faith and service. It is a full-time, 10-month position reporting to the Director of College & School Counseling. Key Responsibilities ? Provide short-term individual and group counseling for students dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, and social conflicts. ? Conduct risk assessments (suicide/self-harm) and manage crisis response protocols in collaboration with administration. ? Monitor student development for referred students and those with documented mental health diagnoses. ? Assist in early identification of students' school-related problems, behavior, and social emotional concerns. ? Act as a key member of the Student Support Team and meet with administration to discuss at-risk cases. ? Maintain consistent communication with classroom teachers, counselors, families (when appropriate), school administration and other school personnel to maximize effectiveness of student services. ? Assist in conducting and/or obtaining relevant in-service training for faculty and staff. ? Serve as a liaison between the school and external providers. ? Facilitate parent education workshops. Required Qualifications & Skills ? Master of Counseling, Social Work or Psychology from an accredited institution. ? Current state licensure (LCSW, LPC or equivalent - LCSW preferred). ? Minimum of 3-5 years working with adolescents, preferably in a school setting. ? A deep respect for Catholic teachings and the ability to integrate spiritual wellness into clinical practice. ? Proficiency in CBt, DBT and Trauma-Informed Care. ?
