CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES Clinical Provide clinical service delivery for individuals on assigned caseload. Implement daily social emotional group lessons. Provide crisis management to students as need arises. Conduct intake and biopsychosocial assessments and provide case management. Work in collaboration with teachers and paraprofessionals regarding students' academic and behavior concerns, interpersonal relationships, and coping skills. Counsel with students outside of their caseload on an as needed basis or at supervisor's request. Case Management Serve as liaison between CYHS and outside agencies that provide services to our students. Serve as a liaison to families for students on caseload. Academic Support Assist in completing any necessary paperwork for special education students to keep IEP's updated and participate in meetings. Administer standardized testing to students on assigned caseload. Additional Assist with coverage when staff are absent, as determined by the supervisor. Attend and participate in staff meetings and in-services as required. Work cooperatively with colleagues and administration to implement school policies and regulations. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling preferred. ISBE school counselor or social work endorsement, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required. Minimum of at least two years of social work/counseling experience preferred. Experience working with youth with emotional/behavioral/academic difficulties preferred. This experience should include work with adolescents and families utilizing therapeutic interventions. Positive, empathetic approach and ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with students and families. The ability to work and interact with all school personnel and students in a cooperative, collaborative and courteous manner. Ability to work under stressful situations. Must have effective organizational skills, time management, and flexibility to meet staff and students' needs. Have a willingness to assume any responsibilities appropriate for the position.
