We are currently looking to add a new member to our dynamic team for an opening for a clinical Bilingual Social Worker/Therapist. Depending on the education and professional scope of service, the Social Worker/Therapist provides therapeutic and social work services to individuals, families, and groups experiencing various challenges and issues. They assess client needs, develop and implement comprehensive care plans, and provide therapeutic interventions and functional life skill development in various settings, including homes, schools, and the community. The Social Worker/Therapist may serve as the team facilitator, a primary role, necessary to coordinate and facilitate interdisciplinary meetings. In addition, the Social Worker/Therapist must demonstrate effective integration of services to support client recovery and overall well-being. Anticipated start date: January 20, 2025 COMPENSATION Social Worker/Therapist III & IV - $70,720-$106,080 Full Time, Exempt classification per FLSA Spanish Bilingual differential - 10% increase on the employee's hourly base rate of pay Additional compensation for participating in after hours on-call Mileage reimbursement $0.67 cents per mile BENEFITS Eligible to enroll into benefits on the 1st of the month following employee's first day of employment. Eligibility provisions apply. 13 paid holidays annually 17 days of PTO accrued annually (increases after 3 years of service) Clinical supervision for BBS licensure Reimbursement for fees associated with registering and maintaining the professional licenses required of the position (such as BBS licensing fees) FCNI provides free CEU courses for maintaining ongoing education requirements for professional licensure EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Social Worker/Therapist III: Master's degree in social work, Psychology or related field required. In process and/or proof of active intern registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences, as an Associate Clinical Social Worker or Associate Marriage Family Therapist. Direct experience in a Behavioral Health or Social Services setting such as outpatient clinics, behavioral health facilities, and/or related community-based organizations. Social Worker/Therapist IV (Licensed): Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology related field required. Current active and unrestricted California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or Psychologist. Direct experience and knowledge of Behavioral Health and Social Services Core Practices in settings such as outpatient clinics, behavioral health facilities, and/or community-based organizations. Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with clients to address their specific needs and goals. Provide direct behavioral support, evidence-based interventions, and life skill development to support clients with achieving their goals. Provide psychoeducation on mental health and substance use topics, such as symptom management, relapse prevention, and developing healthy coping skills. Engage clients in meaningful activities and social interactions to promote mental and emotional well-being, including providing transportation and/or accompanying clients to access community resources and support services. Provide training and support to families, caregivers, and other stakeholders on implementing behavior management strategies and techniques, promoting understanding and collaboration Engage clients in risk assessment and safety planning. Following established protocols and procedures for de-escalation and intervention, provide support, guidance, and the development of coping strategies for managing crisis situations. Participate in supervision to review cases, receive guidance, and collaborate on therapeutic interventions to assist in providing evidence-based, culturally responsive client services. Adhere to ethical standards, professional codes of conduct, and legal regulations governing clinical practice. Address ethical dilemmas and boundary issues that may arise in clinical work. To ensure that interventions are effective, and goals are being met, monitor and document client progress and adjust plans as needed. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency timelines, policies, and confidentiality standards. Ensure documents meet Medi-Cal and other regulatory requirements. Coordinate and facilitate team meetings and collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients. Participate in professional networking and collaboration with other contractual and/or community organizations to enhance clinical services and available resources for clients. Participate in professional development activities and training to remain informed about Evidence Based Practices and to support high-quality innovative client services.
