Responsibilities
A sleep technologist works under the general supervision of the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in-center and out-of-center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care, and direct patient education.
A sleep technologist can perform the duties defined for a sleep technician and can provide oversight of other sleep center staff.
The sleep technologist is credentialed in sleep technology.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Successful completion of a polysomnography program, or Respiratory Care Program, or Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist Program, or AASM Accredited Sleep Technologist Program (A-Step)
Six (6) months of previous experience as a PSG technician and participation in an average of 10 hours per year of AMA PRA Category I CME or CEC sleep-related activities over a three-year period or equivalent minimum education
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
* Must be RST credentials through ABSM American Board of Sleep Medicine, OR Must be RPSGT credentials through BRPT Board of Registered Polysomnography Technicians, OR Must be Sleep Disorder Specialist (SDS) through National Board of Respiratory Care

Responsibilities:
Care Giver:
Responsible for a designated group of residents during the shift; knows where their residents are and physically checks on them throughout the shift.
Observes, reports and documents symptoms and conditions of residents for changes in condition such as skin, behavior, alertness, weight, dietary and participation in activities.
Responds to security system and resident call bells promptly.
Notifies supervisor and/or Health Care Coordinator if a resident has increased care needs.
Assists with continence management and disposes of all continence products properly to ensure sanitation of resident suite and community restrooms.
Serves and collects food trays and assists as needed; reports refusal of meals or loss of appetite.

Follows re-fill process for medications.

Lovelace Biomedical Research Institute is seeking a MedicalTechnologist to perform skilled clinical laboratory procedures according to established standards. This position will be responsible for performing automated and manual hematology, clinical chemistry, coagulation analyses, urinalysis and cytology. This position may perform technical evaluation of new instrumentation, method development and oversee the review and revision of laboratory policies and procedures. Responsibilities will include monitoring of all procedures and quality control practices to ensure accuracy and validity of test results and compliance with the requirements of regulatory and certifying agencies. The position will work with a multi-disciplinary biomedical research team studying the pathogenesis of infectious agents and toxicity of environmental pollutants and drug products.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field and one year experience as a laboratory generalist, or MLT with two years' experience in a clinical laboratory, or an equivalent combination of education and training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained.
Certification by a recognized agency (ASCP, NCA, AMT) is required, but will consider applicants who are in the process of obtaining certification and can obtain certification within 6 months of employment.
Must have demonstrated proficiency as laboratory generalist including hematology, chemistry and urinalysis. Knowledge of GLP's and experience with laboratory animal research and/or ABSL3 environment is desirable.
A Post-offer physical and background check are required as well as the ability and willingness to obtain required vaccinations and clearances. Ability to gain and maintain access to Kirtland Air Force base (KAFB) is required.
Relocation may be offered for this position.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed in a wet laboratory environment. Will operate standard laboratory equipment and will frequently stand, walk, sit, perform lab- and desk-based computer tasks, perform laboratory techniques requiring grasping/pipetting/hand dexterity, perform repetitive motions and occasionally lift objects that weigh up to 50 pounds. Will wear personal protective equipment which may include a respirator. May work in close proximity to an environment containing research animals and may be required to work with or be in areas where hazardous materials and/or infectious agents are present which may require vaccinations.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Digital Lab/Clinical Support tech is responsible for working with advanced digital technologies in the dental lab environment to create precise and customized dental products, including, dentures, partials, provisional temps and other prosthetics. Digital Model Assembly:

3D Printing:
Set up, monitor, and maintain 3D printers and other equipment used in the production of dental prosthetics.

Perform phlebotomy on adult, geriatric pediatric or infant patients by venipuncture or dermal puncture as appropriate.
Verify patient information, correctly label lab samples, and match laboratory requisition forms.

The Clinical Lab Assistant Phlebotomist is able to work independently and with minimal supervision and/or oversight. 5. Specimen Processing (includes Specimen receipt, specimen sorting , specimen delivery\loading, decanting and retrieval for send out testing and surgical sample triage, Specimen storage and disposal functions)
6. Non-conformity investigation\Problem Resolution (examples Problem Desk aka Portal, TLC, NCE responses, client service) includes proper documentation.
7. Lab Equipment Maintenance and\or support (superuser), to include chemical and biohazard waste management for non-testing instrumentation (cryostats and stainline)
8. Sample Testing (waived to moderate) including appropriate instrument maintenance, including biohazard disposal, and QC.
a. Reviews results to see if they are within defined parameters. Identifies and resolves technical specimen problems. Report out results.
b. Identifies, researches and resolves specimen, QC, or instrument problems.
9. Consistent training and\or assisting in competency assessments of modalities to employee and\or students with completing initial training documentation. This may include N95 FIT Testing,
