Order and receive medications per State regulation and LCB policies and procedures.
Assisting the Residents with the Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including toileting, dressing, bathing, eating and walking; as described in the service plan.
Monitors for changes in resident needs, preferences and health status. Reports/documents any noticed changes at once to the RN or designee.
Assisting Residents with clothing and laundry needs as per the service plan.
Supervise or assist Residents with activity programs.

Assisting Residents with keeping their units neat, clean and orderly.
Answering emergency calls and attending to the Residents needs promptly.

We are searching for the best talent for the Global Medical Affairs Leader (GMAL), Prostate Cancer to be in Raritan, NJ.
The Global Medical Affairs Leader (GMAL), Prostate Cancer, is responsible for leading the execution of medical affairs strategy for the clinical-commercial optimization of product development and life cycle management. The current role focuses on Localized Prostate Cancer. GMAL also contributes to strategies and plans for multiple products and/or compounds within the disease area stronghold (DAS) and/or therapeutic area (TA). GMAL will partner closely with several cross functional and cross regional stakeholders including the Regional Medical TA/product leaders, global commercial and market access leaders, Clinical Development Leaders, Compound Development Leaders, other R&D colleagues, GMA Operations Leader, etc., to develop integrated global medical affairs perspectives, strategies, and plans.
Responsibilities include:
Contribute to the development and lead the execution of the Global Medical Affairs (GMAF) strategy and plan for the assigned compounds based on prioritized global and regional needs.
Collaborate with the Compound Development Team(s) (CDT) to ensure integration with the overall global compound strategy, resulting in one global R&D and Medical Affairs compound development plan, inclusive of developing a Target Product Profile representing medical affairs global and regional value needs.
Lead relevant external engagement and patient advocacy initiatives/strategy by driving, building and enhancing strategic alliances with key national and international stakeholders, including patient advocacy groups, physician advocacy groups, academic organizations and other relevant stakeholders in response to patient needs and in support of Janssen's global patient advocacy objectives and related strategic goals responsibility for JNJ's patient advocacy landscape assessment and engagement strategy.
Lead the asset specific cross regional medical affairs strategic discussions (W-MAST) and cross regional knowledge transfer and scientific exchange meetings (WISE), consisting of regionally designated Therapeutic Area Medical Affairs Leaders to create one medical affairs perspective and one “unified” voice on the CDT.
Provide single Medical Affairs voice into the creation of compound development and strategies, plans and trial design from phase IIa through phase IV.
Lead execution of the pre-launch medical activities including product/Therapeutic Area global advisory boards, medical symposia and congress activities, coordination of regional activity in these areas.
Collaborate closely with the regional medical affairs representatives to develop integrated global medical affairs strategies and plans and maintain open, two-way communication to ensure regional medical affairs is up to date on all plans, progress and decisions.
Lead development and execution of the global publication plan as well as review and approval of publications and scientific congress displays for marketed products and specified compounds in clinical development
Manage the ReCAP process (review of all medical affairs sponsored clinical trials and Investigator Initiated Sponsored studies) for applicable assets.
Contribute to building medical adoption strategy, integrated evidence generation activities, and provide clinical leadership to the development and oversight to the conduct of global medical affairs studies
Support development of the company risk management strategy and plan as well as author and review specific sections of the Periodic benefit-risk assessment report for compounds. Perform Medical impact assessments as required
Support routine safety reporting and collaborate with safety monitoring team (SMT)
Job Qualifications
An advanced scientific/medical degree (e.g. MD, PhD, PharmD, MPH or other masters level degree) is required.
Experience in Prostate Cancer is highly preferred
A minimum of 3 years of combined relevant experience in a medical/clinical environment and/or scientific function in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
At least five years in the Medical Affairs environment is highly preferred.
Having an established network with medical experts/opinion leaders in the Early Prostate Cancer is highly preferred
A demonstrated track record of success within Medical Affairs, clinical environment and/or scientific function is required.
Highly innovative with the ability to drive a complex and changing environment and effectively manage and resolve issues is required
Global mindset and ability to partner cross culturally/regionally is required
In-depth knowledge of study/clinical methodology, study/clinical data reviews and analysis is preferred
A demonstrated track record leading highly matrixed, cross-functional work teams comprised of high-level managers and executives is required.

The Care Giver/Med Tech role includes providing hands on care, physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home like environment.
Responsibilities:
Care Giver:
Responsible for a designated group of residents during the shift; knows where their residents are and physically checks on them throughout the shift.
Observes, reports and documents symptoms and conditions of residents for changes in condition such as skin, behavior, alertness, weight, dietary and participation in activities.
Responds to security system and resident call bells promptly.
Notifies supervisor and/or Health Care Coordinator if a resident has increased care needs.
Assists with continence management and disposes of all continence products properly to ensure sanitation of resident suite and community restrooms.
Serves and collects food trays and assists as needed; reports refusal of meals or loss of appetite.
Maintains cleanliness of resident's room and work areas.
Practices good standard care precautions of cleanliness, hygiene and health.

Maintains confidentiality of all resident information including resident medication.
Reports all resident concerns made while assisting resident with the medication to the Nurse and/or Health Care Coordinator (HCC).
Restocks medication cart after all medication passes.
Assists in checking medication regardless of packaging system.
Counts all narcotics with another Medication Care Manager or Nurse each shift.
Maintains and cleans the Medication Room, med charts, treatment carts for neatness cleanliness, availability of medications and expired medications.
Follows re-fill process for medications.
Participates in the development of the Service Plan and monthly updates.
Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration rates.
Reports occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, sharp sticks and hazardous chemicals immediately.
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Certified Nurse's Aid certification preferred.

Process human tissue and body fluid specimens in preparation for microscopic exam
Perform technical duties related to the production of histopathological slides of surgical specimens
Section the embedded tissue, using a microtome and mount the section properly on a microscope slide
Perform various immunohistochemical tests on formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections
Process mounted sections through routine and special staining procedures
Properly orient and embed surgical tissue specimens
Prepare the stains and reagents needed for special procedures
Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
Operate and maintain manual and automated instruments
Perform and document equipment maintenance as needed
Record equipment log data in an accurate and timely manner
Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies
Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, analysis and reporting
Document problems that may affect test performance and perform corrective actions as needed
Requirements:
Associate's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meets local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements
Histology and/or ASCP certifications are preferred
Previous experience in histology is preferred but not required
Previous histology experience is required without an Associate's degree
Immunohistochemistry experience is a plus
Comfortability embedding both large and small specimens
Ability to accurately read all labels and documents
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
Experience working in a high volume laboratory environment is desirable
Familiarity with laboratory SOPs and safety protocols
Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen

Organizational Function and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for instruction in Medical Laboratory Technician at the college level. This includes developing a relevant and progressive curriculum, designing and implementing effective learning strategies and environments, delivering instruction of high quality, assessing student learning, advising students, and participating in college service activities at the department, division and college levels.
This position reports to the Department Chair in the School of Health Education.
Essential Duties:
The following duties are typically expected of this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
1. Responsible for instruction in the Medical Laboratory Technician program including but not limited to the following courses: Urinalysis, Basic Immunology, Basic Hematology, Coagulation, Intro to Blood Bank, Advanced Blood Bank, Advanced Hematology, Clinical Chemistry 1 & 2 Clinical Microbiology, and/or Molecular Diagnostics.
2. Develop and plan appropriate instructional strategies and alternative delivery strategies when appropriate including but not limited to hybrid, face-to-face and on-line course delivery.
3. Participate in in-service meetings, staff development trainings or other activities or programs requested by the Department.
4. Assist and advise students who have problems with assignments, tests, grades, course content, career concerns, and other academic matters.
5. Comply with college policies and directions regarding student testing, record keeping, advanced standing, providing grades on a timely basis, evaluating student performance and maintaining office hours for student assistance and counseling, etc.
6. Maintain competencies as an instructor as aligned with the Faculty Quality Assurance System.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science or Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
Two (2) years (4000 hours) of related work experience in the Clinical Laboratory Sciences to include occupational related work experience as a medicaltechnologist. (One (1) year (2,000 hours) of related work experience must be within the past five (5) years. This requirement can be waived for those having two (2) years of full-time equivalent teaching experience in related area within the last five (5) years.
MedicalTechnologist board certification as MT (ASCP), MLS (ASCP) CM or equivalent, or ability to attain by time of hire.
Experience with or willingness to learn different modes of instruction (online, hybrid, Classroom Live, and modes of the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) years of Hematology specialty experience.
