Cleveland Clinic's Sleep Disorders Center is a multispecialty, comprehensive program dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders in children and adults. Accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the center is comprised of specialists in neurology, family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, pulmonary medicine, psychiatry, psychology and otolaryngology.
A caregiver in this position works nights + on-call requirements, from 7:00pm-7:30am or 8:30pm-6:30am.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
* Prepare patient and equipment for ordered testing.
* Interview patient to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedures.
* Perform and document testing.
* Monitor patient throughout testing and intervenes as necessary to resolve patient needs or equipment issues.
* Instruct non-registered and trainees. Scores, interprets and reports results of sleep studies.
* Prepare, calibrate, repair and maintain equipment required for testing. Determines and reports needed repairs/replacements. Performs QA.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
* High school diploma or GED
* Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
* Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
* Registered Polysomnography Technologist, under the BRPT guidelines

Is capable of performing the responsibilities of General Supervisor (under CLIA) when assigned by the Medical Director and/or Laboratory Director. A Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing a full range of laboratory testing and reporting laboratory findings to physicians. The skills requirements for a Medical Technician I include: Occupational Specific, Technical Skills, Personal and Professional. AHA's MLT must meet the personnel responsibilities per CLIA Sec. 493.1495: Standard Testing personnel responsibilities.
As AHA's MLT, you will be expected to follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results. Maintain records that demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Significant related experience may substitute for education
* Must be licensed as a massage therapist by the State Medical Board of Ohio
* Minimum of two years of demonstrated clerical office experience
* Demonstrated experience working successfully with the public

The Fab Lab enables users to create physical objects directly from digital designs using computer-controlled tools. The lab offers lasers for cutting & engraving, vinyl cutters, CNC routers, 3D printers, electronics workbenches, and more. It serves a diverse user base through courses, open lab hours that are available to the public, camps, workshops, and community outreach activities.
