About the role: The Laboratory Coordinator, QC Analytical Testing is responsible for day-to-day coordination of laboratory operations to ensure that QC spaces are well-maintained, and compliant with GMP expectations. Key responsibilities include oversight of laboratory cleaning and 5S activities, support for equipment calibration and preventive maintenance (PM), pipette verifications, and sample shipment for external testing. The primary responsibilities of the Lab Assistant are: to be responsible for providing administrative support (such as intake, Quality Assurance, communication, and charge entry), for the pathology lab. Duties and Responsibilities Intake and processing of specimens. Input data into Electronic Medical Records Nextech. Log incoming slides and prepares slides for physician. Log Pathology Reports, accession and pull charts for physician review. File slides and blocks. Compliance to safety regulations. Review all slides and documentation to ensure information is accurate May assist with maintenance of Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes May assist with ordering laboratory supplies and appropriately store supplies. May assist with maintenance of current policies and procedures for all lab functions. May assist with the overall responsibility for maintenance and storage of all lab records and patient slides, according to law. Input of diagnosis codes to prepare for finalizing reports for pathologists. Any other duties as required to ensure QualDerm Partners' operations are successful. Requirements At least 1-2 years experience in lab or medical office setting required Understanding of medical terminology preferred.
