The Medical Technologist position has primary responsibility for performing all laboratory testing in accordance with policies and procedures in an accurate and precise manner. Essential Functions: Always be alert and aware to ensure safety, accuracy and efficiency. Assures that all remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the established performance specifications. Ensure that patient test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the test system is properly functioning. Participate in external and internal proficiency testing programs. Responsible for administering testing according to policies and procedures. Maintain all patient information in the strictest confidence. Present a professional demeanor and dress pursuant to company standards. Maintain clean and orderly work area.
