Short Description A Nuclear Medicine Technologist II ability to operate a PETCT and SPECT/CT unit under the guidelines of the State of NJ. Maintains additional licensure to perform CT portion of the Nuclear Medicine exam with either an X-ray license of a NJDEP Limited or a Fusion Imaging CT Technology license. All NM exams must be acquired and processed safe and efficiently as outlined in the department procedure manual. All studies must be of optimal standards. This includes general NM exams along with SPECT/CT and PETCT imaging. Is responsible for completing all radiation safety measures in accordance with the hospital NJDEP Radioactive materials license.     Assistant to the Instructor of the Introductory Laboratories (Phys121 and Phys122). The student LA will help students taking the course through their laboratory work, including problem solving, equipment demonstration, troubleshooting, and preparation. The LA will attend a weekly pedagogy meeting and be present for labs. Responsibilities: The student LA will be expected to interact with students in a respectful manner, in keeping with the values of the Physics and Astronomy Community. They will attend a 30-min weekly pedagogy meeting, and attend a three-hour lab. We expect 3.5 hrs of work per week, for roughly 12 weeks. Requirements: Must be a full-time student at Ursinus College Must have completed the Phys121 and Phys122 sequence and have approval of the department.
