The CMA provides patient care under the direction of a physician and is responsible for assisting providers and others in the clinical care team with providing patient care. Essential Functions Must be able to work independently. Answer telephones and greet patients in a professional, courteous, and caring manner. Properly and systematically update patient medical records and information in NextGen Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
