Preauthorize care/procedures with insurance companies Qualifications Graduate of an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses. Current license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa for Licensed Practical Nurse. Meets educational/competency requirements per policy. Previous clinical experience in a medical office preferred. Qualifications for CMA: Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants. Current CME certification for Certified Medical Assistant and AAMA, NCCT, NHA or AMT (RMA) certification
