Job purpose

What You'll Do
As Medical Assistant, you will:
Schedule medical and lab appointments and arrange transportation for youth.
Assist Licensed Providers with physical exams and basic clinical care.
Obtain and record vital signs; triage health concerns; prepare youth for exams.
Clean and dress wounds, check blood sugar, and support routine medical tasks.
Collect and send out lab samples.
Maintain accurate medical records, including allergies, medications, and doctor's orders.
Keep clinic supplies, first aid kits, and emergency bags stocked.
Participate in treatment team and clinical meetings.
Serve as a liaison for admissions to 24-hour programs.
Support health education and training efforts.
Collect Quality Assurance data.
Perform additional duties as needed to support the Nursing Department.
What We're Looking For
Medical Assistant degree required; LPNs also considered.
Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred.
Strong clinical skills, accuracy in documentation, and knowledge of basic medical procedures.
Excellent communication, organization, and confidentiality practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform clinical tasks.
Comfortable working in a busy clinic with exposure to bodily fluids.
Must be able to safely drive youth to medical appointments as needed.

Job SummaryProvides general medical care under the direction of a licensed provider to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. This position works directly with a franchised business location. The specific job duties and benefits can vary between franchises. Responsibilities
